Artwork & File Requirements
To make sure your DTF and UV DTF transfers print exactly as expected, please follow these guidelines when uploading your artwork.
Transparent background — no white box behind your design.
Minimum at your intended print size. Files under 150 DPI may appear blurry or pixelated when printed at full size.
Smaller designs may not hold fine detail well in DTF printing.
No thinner than this, to ensure clean printing.
Per upload.
A quick note on color
Why your print may look a little different from your screen
Please send your artwork in RGB — that’s the standard for screens, and we take care of the rest. But it helps to know how color works before you order:
- Your screen glows; ink can’t. Phones and computers make color with light, which can show very bright shades that printer ink simply can’t reproduce.
- Our printers use CMYK ink (cyan, magenta, yellow and black). We convert your design to CMYK, so your print will look like the CMYK version of your artwork, not exactly what you see on screen.
- Neon and ultra-bright colors will print duller. Neon greens, hot pinks, electric blues and other glowing shades usually come out softer and less “lit up” than on your screen. That’s a limit of the printing process, not a mistake.
Color differences between your screen and the finished print aren’t treated as print defects.
